#  Implications of New DOL Joint Employment and Independent Contractor Proposed Regulations

The Obama Administration changed the long standing Wage Hour Interpretative Bulletin concerning joint employment and independent contractor. The first Trump Administration reissued the IB, the Biden Administration changed it again and the second Trump Administration changed it again. Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court overruled the Chevron doctrine. So where does that leave us? Sheri Oluyemi and Larry Stine will explore this issue and explain the current state of the law and what is likely to happen on this critical issue.
